Patrik, Age 1.5
Might be one of the best gay films I've seen. It's about a Swedish couple that thinks their adopting a year and a half old baby and actually end up with a 15 year old homophobic teen. It's a bit of a tear-jerker but such a sweet movie. Smooches.

Mother Calls Police on Son for Stealing Her Pop Tarts.
Latasha Renee Love is clearly not the one. She called the police on her son for stealing her coveted box of Pop Tarts, one of the most devastating things you can do to a person. Her son will now have to go to Juvenile Court which is a light punishment if you ax me. Smooches to this story.

The Queen's Reign Continues...
Queen Kelly is now apart of the X Factor USA because she is royalty and television simply cannot go on without her presence. She is replacing the one and only Brit-Brit. Kellz will be working alongside Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato & Paula Rubio. If I'm to be completely honest, I will not watch a single episode of this show at all, but it's nice to know that the X Factor knows what's good. Here's a pic of her sitting on her throne at the first day of filming down south. Smooches.

Must See Documentary: 5 Broken Cameras.
So I must allocate time to actually speak on something of substance on this little blog of mine. I just watched this documentary called "5 Broken Cameras" on HuluPlus (I think it's also available on Netflix) and wanted to share.
It's definitely one of the more authentic documentaries I've seen and is told by a Palestinian man named Emad Burnat who has filmed the struggles his people continuously face in the occupation of their land by Israelis. This film is interesting because it actually shows a non-violent movement against this occupation led by a Palestinian village called Bil'in in the West Bank. Many media outlets tend to feed us this image of Palestinians as all very violent and unruly and I just thought this was a nice contrast to that notion. I know we all have differing opinions concerning this debate, but please at least take the time out to watch this! Smooches.

The NBA's first Openly Gay Player...
Has arrived! In the name of Jason Collins from the Washington Wizards. Although Jason may not be a Kobe Bryant type of star in the NBA, this is a big step for the league, and a big leap forward for professional sports on a global scale. It was very brave for Jason to come out and stand proud for who he is, and he should be applauded for it! Smooches to Jason in his attempt to make the NBA a more tolerant platform for other players.

I Have a Confession...
I'd never thought I'd say this, but I'm kinda really into Scott Disick these days. His past on the multiple Kardashian shows doesn't speak too well to his character, we all know that. He's been a borderline alcoholic, treated people like absolute shit, and gotten himself into a wide array of problems.
But I have to admit, Scott has grown on me alot. I always loved his sense of humor no matter how outrageous he's been in the past, and now that he seemingly has his shit together being an amazing father to his two kids and following Kourt's rules and all, I'm pretty much into him. I think it's also that beard action he's got going on too. I have to admit I find it kinda sexy!! Anyways smooches to Lord Disick for being a better person all around.

Clive Davis Will Be Hosting a Bi-Sexual Bridal Shower Near You.
If you don't understand the title of this post, please just google Eli Porter. Anyways, Legendary music executive & producer Clive Davis, at the age of 80, has randomly come out as bi-sexual. Apparently he's announced this in his new biography so he has felt the need to publicly state that he likes men and is involved in a relationship with a man currently. It's great and all that he's being honest publicly about his sexual orientation, (not that I really care at all) but the whole male bi-sexuality thing has never really made much sense to me at all. But anyways it's not really any of my business and smooches to Clive.

The New "Harlem Shake"
Ok, so apparently there is a new dance craze called the "Harlem Shake"that is sweeping the globe. I actually shouldn't say that this is "new" at all because when I was younger, our culture was also made up of a dance that we all loved called the Harlem Shake (my fellow 90s kids know what I'm talkin' about!).
When I was out a few nights ago, I witnessed this new "Harlem Shake" dance for the first time, and it seems to consist of people just standing around doing nothing, and then suddenly dancing around crazy in each other's faces like they're having a seizure of some sort. Apparently the "Harlem Shake" track itself was produced by American DJ Baauer, who is signed to Diplo's label. Anyways, here's a vid that shows people doing these seizure-like moves to this song. Smooches.

Take a Seat, Lena Dunham.
So I'm glad I'm not the only one up in arms about the last episode of Girls. I'm not going to go deep into this because a lot of people have already expressed their opinions on it but basically Lena Dunham created an episode for herself where she gets involved with a MUCH more attractive, successful dude who is all over her. She ends up running her stupid mouth too much and ruins it all but I just was annoyed by the entire premise of the episode because it seemed so fucking unrealistic. Not to mention that Lena Dunham herself kind of irks me in general as she seems so self-involved and I think it projects greatly in her character on the show.
Anyways, I'm going to stop hating and talking shit and now turn this into a "hottie of the day" post because Patrick Wilson was lookin' real scrumptious in that episode. I really didn't know who he was before but I'm glad I do now! Oh and Lena please refrain from showing your titties so much on tv it's not a good look!!! Smooches.

My Mid 20s Blues.
I'm still living with my parents. I will be 25 years of age in June of this year. I have no job. At this moment, I feel as if my life is going absolutely nowhere. I have a college degree from an "elite" university here in the U.S. and really feel like it's been completely wasted since my graduation which was nearly (gasps for air) 3 years ago in May.
Since my graduation from college almost 3 years ago I feel like I've accomplished absolutely nothing career-wise. I've bounced around from non-profit job to non-profit job, barely making any money, and pretty much hating every position I've landed. I was laid-off from my shitty job starting in the New Year, and recently just quit a temp job after only 2 weeks because I couldn't stand sitting at that desk entering in ridiculous codes for some shit I give no fucks about at all.
Now, don't get me wrong people. I know things could be worse. I could not have a degree at all, be a drug addict, a prostitution-whore, or even Lindsay Lohan's drug dealer. Fuck, I could have no legs, be deaf, and have no dick!!! But, I'm proud to say that at least so far, I've avoided those career paths. And I use "so far" with great hesitation.
I guess the question I wish to ask in this post is, "Will this bullshit of a life of mine right now ever get better?" People constantly tell me that it will, and that I'll be able to look back in 5-10 years and laugh at all of these growing pains and what not. But, it really doesn't seem like that right now. I'm beginning to get a bit more of an idea of what it is I want to do, but I'm getting impatient with myself, and my current situation. I constantly shit on myself for the state of my life at the moment, and am by far my toughest critic.
This post is obviously just me ranting. I don't know if this is any type of Quarter-Life Crisis or whatever, but I'm really really hoping I can turn things around soon. Anyways, smooches to anyone who can really feel me on this. Let's pull ourselves out of this shit-hole!!!

It Must Suck To Be You, Lance Armstrong.
Lance Armstrong has finally come clean to the public about his past doping usage, and he did so in dramatic fashion with none other than Oprah. Lance was known as possibly the best cyclist this world had ever seen, but he he completely ruined his image, and was stripped all of his glory and medals because of his illegal drug use. This is why cheaters never win people!! (Well at least for the most part lol). Shame on you Lance.

My Celtics/Paul Pierce Rant
I'd just like to say that Paul Pierce is the ashiest nigga on the face of this earth. How are you going to make millions of dollars and show your face on national television looking like Ashy Larry's oversized, leprechaun-ass cousin?????? I'm tired of watching his slow ass hit clutch fadeaway jumpers. Someone please throw that nigga in a nursing home before I fall asleep!!! I'm going to start a petition and send it to the NBA to fine him every time he looks like a homeless crackhead before he plays. That nigga will be broke within minutes!!!! Obviously I'm ranting right now because the Knicks just lost to the Celtics, but I really don't give a fuck!!!
Oh and Kevin Garnett is garbage and talks entirely too much shit. I really wish Melo had knocked him the FUCK out tonight! KG runs his stupid, ugly mouth nonstop and I truly hope he gets what he deserves one day (a glorious beat-down in a dark alleyway of course!!!!). Melo had a horrible night shooting and KG obviously got under his skin with some dirty-ass shit talking, because Carmelo rarely loses his cool that easily. Anyways I'm done, it is only one game of the regular season after all. I just needed to express how much I hate the Celtics. Oh and the city of Boston is worthless as well. Bye.

Azealia Banks vs. Perez Hilton
I wouldn't usually comment on something like this, but I've been seeing alot of interesting responses about a particular incident that I feel I need to speak on. Last night on twitter Azealia Banks got into it with Perez Hilton and proceeded to tweet publicly that Perez is a "messy faggot". C'mon Azealia, grow up. She should have known that that word is a definite "no-no" to use, especially on such in such a public setting like Twitter. She also should have known that she has a very large gay following and that her statement could have big, ugly consequences for her career. I also would like to point out that I personally am very uncomfortable with the use of that word, and do not condone Azealia's use of it either. She also tried to justify herself by claiming that the term "faggot" doesn't refer to gay men, but "men that act like women", and at that point I really was just wanting to tape that bitch's mouth up and provider her with several seats.
BUT, I have a few other things I'd like to say about this. As i said before, I think the word faggot can carry alot of hate with it and is a word that I myself never use. I do though, would not be so quick to defend Perez. I know that I like to playfully hate on celebs from time to time on here, but I genuinely think that Perez Hilton is a low-life, piece-of-shit, coward. He has rose to fame for solely bullying celebrities behind a computer screen and then backing out of his statements in fear of being called out for his bullshit, and I have absolutely no respect for that. I ALSO would like to point out that Perez is not as innocent as people are trying to paint him to be. Does anyone else not remember Perez getting the shit beaten out of him for calling Will I. Am a faggot not so long ago? Is that expected to be excused too?? I think not. I quite honestly cannot feel much sympathy for Perez in this predicament because of who he is as a person. I completely agree that the use of the term faggot in any circumstance is ugly, but let's not be so quick to jump to the defense to someone who has essentially made a living off of bullying others and making people feel like shit. Bullying is bullying after all, whether it be in the form of homophobia or defaming the names celebrities, is it not? In this situation, I don't believe that one form of bullying should be valued more highly over another.
I'd also like to point out one more thing. As I will continue to repeat, Azealia was absolutely wrong for what she said in every way, and I don't want anyone to think that I'm pardoning her actions. But, I will also say, that I think Azealia's use of language here is stemming from a type of culture that she is apart of. From what I've seen and heard, Azealia seems to be very much involved in, or at least very familiar with, a type of gay urban culture that is more representative of queer people of color. And within some parts of this culture (I place great emphasis on some at the risk of generalizing an entire group), I've heard terms like "messy faggot", "cunt" and all of the sort at times. I do not think that Azealia realizes that a style of language that she perceives as normal in one community, is very much unaccepted in the wider mainstream gay community. I think this makes her seem very childish and foolish, but I personally would not be so quick to label her as a homophobe. I think more than anything, this was a case of Azealia running her mouth like an idiot, rather than her trying to attack Perez with homophobia. The term faggot is certainly an ugly word, but I also am starting to see us a society putting a bit too much emphasis on this one word, as if other homophobic behavior is less detrimental to the movement.
Anyways, sorry for this rant, I just felt as if this was something I should address. You may or may not agree with what I've said, but regardless, smooches & kisses all around as always.

"Homeless for the Holidays: Witnessing the Lives of Homeless LGBT Youth"
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/carl-siciliano/homeless-for-the-holidays-witnessing-the-lives-of-homeless-lgbt-youth_b_2349018.html?utm_hp_ref=fb&src=sp&comm_ref=false#sb=4373908,b=facebook
So I know that I often post about meaningless shit, but I'd like to share this article from the Huffington Post about homeless LGBT youth in New York City. There are far too many young LGBT people in this city, and in other parts of the world, that are rejected by their parents and left without homes and families as a result, and we, along with our governments, need to try and do more to help them. I complain about my parents alot, but I know how very fortunate I am to have a place to sleep at night and all those other things that we often take for granted. Link to the article is posted above.

Thank You Kerry Washington.
The debate over the issue of Affirmative Action, especially within the realm of higher education, is practically never-ending. I must say that I don't follow actress Kerry Washington very much, but I need to thank her right now for so eloquently voicing her opinion on this issue. I can't tell you how many times I rolled my eyes every time this dude Will Cain opened his mouth to "speak his mind". People still don't seem to get it, and if I hear someone express how they feel that "racism no longer exists in this country" one more time, I may gauge my eyes out. Take a look at this clip. Smooches.

Riri Should Make a Reggae Album.
This is quite self-explanatory. Although she has become a global pop-star, Riri still represents di island of Barbados and needs to put out a reggae album at some point in her career. That shit would just be mad cute in general. The few reggae tracks that she's put out on her past albums have always been favs of mine and she needs to continue this trend. That is all. Smooches.
