Must See Documentary: 5 Broken Cameras.

So I must allocate time to actually speak on something of substance on this little blog of mine. I just watched this documentary called "5 Broken Cameras" on HuluPlus (I think it's also available on Netflix) and wanted to share.

It's definitely one of the more authentic documentaries I've seen and is told by a Palestinian man named Emad Burnat who has filmed the struggles his people continuously face in the occupation of their land by Israelis. This film is interesting because it actually shows a non-violent movement against this occupation led by a Palestinian village called Bil'in in the West Bank. Many media outlets tend to feed us this image of Palestinians as all very violent and unruly and I just thought this was a nice contrast to that notion. I know we all have differing opinions concerning this debate, but please at least take the time out to watch this! Smooches.

YESSS is all I have to say to this man! Don't you just love that certain members of this nation who claim to be "pure Americans" by blood go around talking shit about immigrants when they are the ones whose ancestors took this land away from its natives in the first place! What a mess our country's politics are.

The debate over the issue of Affirmative Action, especially within the realm of higher education, is practically never-ending. I must say that I don't follow actress Kerry Washington very much, but I need to thank her right now for so eloquently voicing her opinion on this issue. I can't tell you how many times I rolled my eyes every time this dude Will Cain opened his mouth to "speak his mind". People still don't seem to get it, and if I hear someone express how they feel that "racism no longer exists in this country" one more time, I may gauge my eyes out. Take a look at this clip. Tomorrow is Election Day!

And holy shit, I'm anxious. If I am to be completely honest and upfront, I haven't been paying enough attention to this election simply because I obviously know who I'm voting for. While at work today though, I read up in detail about Romney's stances on important issues, and I can firmly state that the notion of him being the next president of the United States is truly frightening. Anyways, I'd just like to share a link below that a good friend of mind sent me from the Huffington Post that shows what a passionate, caring man our President is, and why he must be reelected (among other obvious reasons). Please everyone go out and vote tomorrow. (unless of course you're supporting that piece of shit Mitt Romney) Every vote counts people!!!! LET'S KEEP OBAMA IN OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Donald Trump Can Go Kill Himself.

The wonderful, hottie known as Donald Trump wasted his time releasing a video making claims that he had something to say about President Obama that would damage his campaign or some bullshit like that. The almighty Donalda wants President Obama to "release his college records" to the public for whatever reason in hopes of making him look bad, and in return Donalda said he would make a $5 million dollar donation to some charity. All I have to say to this is SHUT THE FUCK UP AND SIT DOWN because NO ONE CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Him and his toupee can suck it for eternity. I'm not even going to post the ridiculous video he produced, because I doubt anyone wants to waste a valuable few minutes from there life. Go to hell Donalda.

I Love My President.

Obama has officially announced that he endorses same-sex marriage and this makes me so happy in too many ways. The fact that he has the courage to come out and say this despite the back-lash he may get from various ignorant-ass communities speaks extremely highly of his character and I LOVE HIM for it!!!!! Not that there was any doubt in who I would be voting for in this upcoming election, but Obama has made me even more proud to want to call him MY president. President Obama is forever MY NIGGA!!!!!!!
