God Damn.

Injury news for the Knicks has just gotten even worse now that we have been informed that Jeremy Lin's knee problem is alot more serious than everyone had initially thought. Apparently he will need surgery and is supposed to sit out something like 6 weeks which essentially eliminates any chance of him returning during the regular season, and even in the first round of the playoffs if the Knicks do end up qualifying.

This obviously sucks majorly because Jeremy Lin is a young, fresh point guard that brings alot of energy onto the court. He's so good at penetrating and kicking out the ball to his teammates, and has proven that he's a solid shooter as well.

Despite the fact that we have basically lost STAT & now Lin for the rest of the season, I'm not completely losing hope in my team just yet. The Knicks have been playing well as of late because of their defense, and in my opinion the most important player on this team is actually Tyson Chandler. His defensive presence down low as well as his rebounding efforts are qualities that may not necessarily manifest themselves stat-wise, but these are things that the Knicks can not simply do without. Also, Melo has been playing very well as of late, and JR Smith has really stepped up his game as well, so I think the Knicks still have a fighting chance as long as they continue to play hard every game, and stay tough on defense.

They have a very tough schedule coming up to end this season, but I'm not going to give up on my Knicks yet! We are currently holding down the 8th and final playoff spot with the Bucks still up our ass, so we can't afford to let up at all the rest of the way. But I must say, if we lose Chandler or Melo or some shit like that, I might have to really throw in the towel.

Smooches though to the Knicks, and let's get into the playoffs, PLEASE!!!!
