I actually can't believe it's been almost 10 years since 1. The death of the one & only Aaliyah (I might start tearing up) & 2. September 11th. That shit is so crazy to me!!! We all know there's going to be some type of huge memorial thingy for the 10 yr anniversary of 9/11 which is great, but to be honest that shit makes me uncomfortable. I genuinly cannot still handle looking at clips of the towers going down because it strikes fear in me like a slave seeing his master. I don't know if it evokes the same fear in everyone else, but I guess I'm partially a bit more sensitive to it because I grew up in NYC and was certainly here during the attacks and thought I was actually going to die for that next week straight. But anyways smooches to those who passed on 9/11 & OF COURSE our girl Aaliyah. Listening to you at work right now girl, you will never be forgotten I promise you that!!
