Innappropriate Pop Songs..

So has anyone else taken note of how directly innappropriate pop songs are these days?? Like record companies and artists aren't even bothering to be slick about it anymore. Let's just run though a few song titles:

"Tonight I'm fuckin' You" by Enrique Iglesias
"Fuck You" by Cee-Lo Green
"Sexy Bitch" by David Guetta
"Fuckin' Perfect" by Pink
"Ass On the Floor" by Diddy Dirty Money
"Fuck You" by Lily Allen
"S&M" by Rihanna

I just honestly don't remember Pop music being so outrightly explicit when I was younger. Little kids are probably running around singing things like "damn, you a sexy bitch" to one another and that makes me uncomfortable. If I heard my 8 yr old singing that shit I'd slap them upside the head and was their mouth out with Comet. I watch after this kid (yes that does make me a "manny") and he asked me the other day what "S&M was as he heard it in "that new Rihanna song". It doesn't get much more awkward than that for me. Thanks alot Riri.  And to be honest in my mind it really doesn't make it that much better that the words are being changed in edited versions from time to time. Anyways this has been on my mind for awhile, so I just thought I'd post about it. Smooches.

  1. S&M just gives the actual details of what's really going on in Hit Me Baby One More Time and I'm a Slave for You. And Sexy Bitch is a love song. <3
