NY has been taken by storm by my homeboy reppin' Harvard, JEREMY LIN!!! The Knicks were sucking HARDCORE before Lin was finally put in to play point guard and he might single handedly be responsible for saving our season by the way he's been playing so far. Jeremy has been putting up incredible numbers in the past 4 games and has my city buzzin' like a bee. I was fortunate enough to witness the Linsanity as I decided on a whim, to cop some tickets, get liquored up, and hit up a Knicks game. That dude is off the chain!! And he's exactly what we need. A great composed, distributing point guard that can put up solid points as well.
I think people were skeptical of his abilities due to the fact that he had been playing against rather weak defenses before last night. And then the Lakers came into town. I don't think many people thought we had much of a chance up against Kobe and company, but Lin put up his best game thus far. Jeremy Lin scored 38 points against the Lakers in an extremely impressive win and I think people are starting to realize that he may in fact be the real deal. The Knicks are on a 4 game winning streak at the moment without the help of Melo or Stat, and are looking to climb back up to .500. I pray that Lin continues to play as well as he has been and becomes the newest star in New York. Hopefully Melo will be able to mesh well when he returns and not hog the ball as much. With all of our stars in place, and the way we've been playing defense as of late, the Knicks could very soon be an unstoppable force able to compete with the likes of the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat in the east. So let's all hope for the best and GOD BLESS JEREMLY LIN!!! Oh and did I mention that I think he's a cutey too?? He could definitely get it. Smooches.
