Let's Just Keep This Short...

So the Cowboys blew another fourth quarter lead (this one by 12) and lost to the Giants of course in the final minute, 37-34.  These meltdowns have become commonplace for the Cowboys so there's really no point in getting angry over it anymore. Despite both teams being tied for first place now at 7-6, they have put the Giants in the driver's seat to win the division, and there's no reason to think that the Cowboys will get lucky and end up being the NFC East champions, or even manage to make it into the playoffs as a wildcard.

Despite this meltdown, Tony Romo looked almost perfect last night, and his only real fuck up was that overthrown pass to Miles Austin that could have put the game away in the fourth quarter. Also, more good news came as our star running back DeMarco Murray basically broke his ankle and will probably be out for the rest of the season leaving us solely with Felix Jones for the rest of the year. Felix played well, but has a problem with durability and doesn't seem to be as tough as a running back as Murray is.

To wrap this up, once again our defense looked absolutely pathetic in the final stages of the game and couldn't hold it down despite our offense playing pretty well all game. Also, I hate to say it, but Down Syndrome Manning was looking pretty good last night. But anyways, smooches to the fact that I at least have the NBA season to look forward to!!
